The BSQ, through its “Noteworthy Scholars” program, seeks out student composers in the Boston Public Schools to compose either an original musical work or arrange an existing music piece for the BSQ. The winning selection is then performed by this professional quartet whose members have appeared with the Boston Pops, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and leading Broadway theaters throughout New England.
